Custom fiber optic star ceilings across the LA basin and the valleys — Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Malibu and everywhere between. Panels from $55 per sq ft, or $77 per sq ft fully installed.
Quick Answer: A starlight ceiling in Los Angeles costs $55 per square foot for panels or $77 per square foot fully installed, with no separate travel charge. A typical 150 sq ft master bedroom runs $8,250 panels only or $11,550 installed, finished in a single day once our crew is on site.
We install custom fiber optic star ceilings across Los Angeles, from Beverly Hills and Bel Air through the Westside to the valleys. Our panels are custom-manufactured acoustic ceiling tiles with the fibre optics and LED light engine already built in — they drop into a suspended grid or surface mount directly, with no attic access, no drilling and no ceiling repair.
LA housing stock is unusually varied, and that matters more here than in most markets. A mid-century flat ceiling or a modern build with a suspended grid is straightforward. Original plaster in a 1920s Spanish or Craftsman property, coffered ceilings, and the heavily vaulted ceilings common in hillside homes all need assessing first — and in some cases panels are the wrong product and we'll say so.
Dedicated media rooms and screening rooms are the most common project we quote in LA, followed by master suites. The panels are acoustic tiles before they're anything else, which does real work in a room where the ceiling is often the last untreated surface.
Outside these areas? We install throughout Southern California and ship panels anywhere in the state at $55 per sq ft for self-installation. See all our locations or call (702) 738-2218.
Pricing is the same across the country — panels at $55 per square foot, installation at $22 per square foot on top, with no separate travel charge. Los Angeles is not priced differently from anywhere else.

Shooting stars, constellation mapping and colour changing are built in at manufacture and quoted separately. Full detail in our starlight ceiling cost guide.
Our most common LA project. Acoustic panels handle the ceiling reflections that hurt audio while the starfield sets the room. See home theatre star ceilings.
Usually a centred field over the bed with a slow twinkle rather than full coverage. See bedroom star ceilings.
Dining rooms, private rooms and bar ceilings. Panels are UL fire-rated for commercial specification. See commercial star ceilings.
Treatment rooms and relaxation areas, usually at lower star density with warm tones rather than a dense field.
Hillside and vaulted ceilings: a lot of LA homes have them, and panels are designed for flat ceilings and suspended grids. A heavily vaulted or curved ceiling may be better served by a traditional loose-fibre installation than by our product. Send us a photo before assuming either way — we'd rather tell you it won't work than sell you something that doesn't fit.
Send your room dimensions and we'll come back with a fixed price for panels only and fully installed, so you can compare both.
