Custom fiber optic star ceilings across the Sacramento region β Folsom, Roseville, El Dorado Hills, Elk Grove and the city itself. Panels from $55 per sq ft, or $77 per sq ft fully installed.
Quick Answer: A starlight ceiling in Sacramento costs $55 per square foot for panels or $77 per square foot fully installed, with no separate travel charge. A typical 150 sq ft master bedroom runs $8,250 panels only or $11,550 installed, finished in a single day once our crew is on site.
We install custom fiber optic star ceilings across the Sacramento region, from the city out to Folsom, Roseville, El Dorado Hills and Elk Grove. Our panels are custom-manufactured acoustic ceiling tiles with the fibre optics and LED light engine already built in β they drop into a suspended grid or surface mount directly, with no attic access, no drilling and no ceiling repair.
Most of the region's growth is recent, and that works in your favour. The suburban belt across Elk Grove, Roseville, Rocklin, Folsom and Natomas is largely newer construction with flat drywall ceilings at standard heights β exactly what panels are made for, and a much simpler job than older stock. The exception is the established central neighbourhoods: East Sacramento and Land Park have homes with original plaster and coved ceilings that need looking at first.
There's a practical point about Central Valley summers too. Because the light engine sits inside the panel rather than in a roof void, nothing about this system lives in your attic β which matters in a market where attic temperatures get genuinely extreme and a traditional fibre install puts equipment up there.
Outside the region? We install throughout Northern California and ship panels anywhere in the state at $55 per sq ft for self-installation. The Bay Area has its own pages β see San Francisco and San Jose. Call (702) 738-2218.
Pricing is the same across the country β panels at $55 per square foot, installation at $22 per square foot on top, with no separate travel charge. Sacramento is not priced differently from anywhere else.

Shooting stars, constellation mapping and colour changing are built in at manufacture and quoted separately. Full detail in our starlight ceiling cost guide.
Common in the newer Folsom, Roseville and El Dorado Hills builds. Acoustic panels handle the ceiling reflections that hurt audio. See home theatre star ceilings.
Usually a centred field over the bed with a slow twinkle rather than full coverage. See bedroom star ceilings.
No heat and no current at ceiling level, because the fibres carry light only. See residential installations.
Dining rooms, private rooms and event spaces. Panels are UL fire-rated for commercial specification. See commercial star ceilings.
Older central-city homes: East Sacramento and Land Park have properties with original plaster and coved ceilings, and panels are made for flat ceilings and suspended grids. A room with significant original detail may be better left alone or done another way. Send a photo and we'll tell you straight.
Send your room dimensions and we'll come back with a fixed price for panels only and fully installed, so you can compare both.
